Larger and more full-bodied variant of the classic fusilli of the Campanian tradition, made by hand in ancient times according to a method handed down from "mother to daughter". It involved twisting a piece of spaghetti around a knitting needle, with a very quick gesture and skillful hands, the type of skill was very reminiscent of that of spinners, and in fact the term "fusillo" derives from "spindle", the tool that the spinners used.
The Fusilli Giganti are particularly suitable for dishes with strong and decisive flavors or for recipes that involve the "jump in the pan".
