The treatments are only carried out if necessary and according to prescription. The average yield is 4 tons per hectare. The flooding is carried out with water from resurgences, from the irrigation consortium and from Ticino. Harvesting takes place in October with combine harvesters. The stubble is crushed and buried in the field.
After drying with hot air, the rice is delivered to the rice mill and stored in special silos. This is followed by mechanical cleaning to eliminate impurities, peeling with a roller machine to remove shells, bleaching with a stone machine and an optical sorter, packaging in a modified atmosphere.Ingredients: brown rice
