Righed Paccheri are typical of Campania. Its name comes from "paccarià", which in the Neapolitan dialect means "slap": probably in the popular tradition we wanted to remember the great and heavy consistency. They are widely used, with different names, also in other regions
They are recommended for preparing dry pastes seasoned with dense and full meat sauce such as the Neapolitan meat sauce that can penetrate and lubricate the pasta.
Alternatively, they can be enjoyed in baked mess with cheese and tomato sauce, or with rich fish sauces
