De Cecco's Mezze Penne Rigate are semi-penne with marked striations that hold sauces perfectly. Made from durum wheat semolina, spun in bronze for a rough surface and then dried slowly, they offer an authentic texture and excellent hold when cooked.
Ideas for use- Perfect with tomato sauces, ragù, roasted vegetables, pesto or cheese creams.
- Ideal as a gratin or pasta salad.
- Al dente: 10 minutes | Classic: 12 minutes.
- Cook in plenty of salted water (10 g salt/L). Stir at the beginning.
- Drain and mix immediately with the sauce.
