De Cecco's Penne Piccole Rigate are small penne with pronounced striations, ideal for coating sauces and condiments. Prepared from durum wheat semolina and then dried slowly, they guarantee an authentic texture and excellent durability when cooked.
Ideas for use- Perfect with tomato sauces, ragù, pesto or cheese creams.
- Excellent as gratin or pasta salad.
- Al dente: 10 minutes | Classic: 12 minutes.
- Cook in plenty of salted water (10g salt/L), stir at first then drain and mix immediately with sauce.
