The famous spaghetti format comes from southern Italy and mainly from those cities where pasta making has been concentrated: Naples, Genoa and Liguria. The spaghetti format has the typical oblong, round shape and a diameter between 1.92 mm and 2.00 mm. Historically, the term "spaghetto" appears officially for the first time in the first dictionary of Italian languages by Nicolò Tommaseo and Bernardo Bellini (1819). Here the word spaghetto appears "in the singular, as a masculine diminutive form of "Spago" (string) in the recipe "Minestra di Spaghetti: che sono paste della grossezza di un piccolo spago e lunghe, come i sopracapellini". In 1957, the British BBC broadcast the first scientific documentary on the production of spaghetti. The next day, BBC studios were literally flooded with phone calls from numerous viewers who wanted to inquire about spaghetti manufacturers and distributors to buy some. Spaghetti can be served hot or cold, whereby practically all sauces in this format are ideally suitable: tomato sauces with vegetables or herbs, fish or seafood sauces but of course also so-called "white" sauces, i.e. prepared with soft cheese and cream and possibly With the addition of spices such as curry, saffron, horseradish or ginger.Depending on availability, we will send either (12 packs of spaghetti 1 kg) or (24 packs of spaghetti of 500 g)
